The Power of Prayers

YELLOWWWW!It's been a looooong looooong time huh! Can't believe it.
I had a random urge to come back and blog, and I chanced upon so many unpublished drafts throughout the many months/years hahaha.
Lets start with the significant ones.
Its been close to a year and a half since I started working. Things are going fine. I thank God everyday that I got to work here where there's zero politics, and everyone's real friendly. Must be all the prayers I prayed! Hehe.
Just recently, I was affected by something that I came to knew of, and I was shocked that I was actually affected. Yeah. It was quite the revelation. After much deliberation tho, I concluded that it was a major case of sour grapes. Funny. I never thought I would feel that way, but at the very least I got to figure the whys and hows! Lol. Pretty much a very in-depth psychological and emotional examination of myself. So glad everything turned out well! Hehh. (:
There are also plans to study... HAHA. I know I know. I've been like harping on them the moment I began working, because its an inevitable route. BUTBUTBUT! ): I can never find the motivation to drag myself to apply and whatsnot. SIGH. Deadline's due soon tho. It's a do-or-die thing now. Hahahaa. So I guess I'll be a part time student soooon! Never experienced it before. I pray for the strength and motivation to continue to work hard! OH YEH. I'm also fighting (somewhat) to try and get my company to sponsor my studies. From what I see now, chances are slim tho. )): sigh. One can only hope, eh? Keeping my fingers crossed! (:
The main reason why I turned back to this place, is because I wanted to talk about something.
Yes, its the title, if you didn't already know. The Power of Prayers. (idk if it still shows up)
Boss is away for 2 weeks. This is the first week, and it didn't start out well. Started out quite bad actually. Long story short, we knew of an impending issue before my boss left, but it was something that we handled before, so there wasn't much of a concern. The beginning of this week, my CFO requested for us to handle it in a way that is different from the way we previously handled it. This complicates matters, involving banks and credit issues. Big big crisis. With my boss not around, I would be the one executing this...thing. Should anything go wrong, which might result in unnecessary outflows, the bosses will look to me for an explanation. Scratch big. It's a major issue.
Got in contact with my boss, who was overseas, and she told me to tell him that we cannot do as our CFO says. But how do I tell him that! I am but a small fry lol. Aaaaaand, in jap companies, men of certain positions don't take lightly to juniors telling them what to do. ._. SO WHAT DO I DO?! Hahahaha. Seriously. I almost went crazy. Okay too kua zhang. But I was a little concerned about this. Lol!
Then I received an email from Brother Sam. It was a letter teaching us how to commit all things to God. Here's the content.
---
Commit ALL things to Jesus, for this is God's will,
and allow Jesus to organise the day for you.
Do this for a week or two and you'll be surprised how
smoothly things go.
"for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed onto Him" - 2 Timothy 1:12
Every morning, pray somewhat like this ;
Lord Jesus I commit this day and my health onto You.
Please organise this day for me, and help me with the things that
needs to be done this day
Don't worry about tomorrow! When tomorrow comes, start the day with the same prayer as today.
A simple prayer will bring Jesus on the scene for today.

So. I realised how stupid I was. I was just lamenting to a colleague at how unlucky I was for the past few days, (had various unlucky moments. z.) and was saying that maybe it was because I forgot to say my daily prayers. Then I had a lightbulb moment. That's it! Why didn't I? Hahahahha. So stupid right!
Of course, the next morning, which is today morning, I made sure to say my daily prayer before getting out. AND VIOLA! All my problems at work were solved. I mean seriously. There were changes to the issue, which practically solved my dilemma completely! Praise the Lord! I cannot believe how dumb I was, when the solution was right in front of my eyes! Hahahahha.
So yes. I hope, to whoever might be still reading this, that this prayer finds its way into your life and that you too, may enjoy the blessings of The Lord. It's free! There's no reason to accept such grace. <3 br="">
That's it for today. I'm going to try and update as and when I can, so that I can still read back in the future and reminisce the past. kekeke :D
Annyeong~ And don't forget to say your daily prayers! (:3>
