Always clean up after yourself

wellwellwell. where do i even start. this office, is getting scarier and scarier.

its quite dumb that you have to go to the extent of hiding food and drinks from us, when those are paid for by the company for our consumption. like seriously. not enough just buy more la! i dont get whats there to hide.. -rolls eyes

next. i got pretty scared by this one. colleague A recently realised errors on the reports done by colleague B. B's boss tried to make A take over the job, and A got upset, cos A was helping to check only out of goodwill. A told B's boss that she will not check for them ever again. B's boss forwarded the mail to his dept (including B) to take note. B got very very upset.

we all have access to this particular drive on the server, lets call it Z server. Z server contains literally thousands and files and information, all the way from 2006 up till now. B, out of spite, accessed server Z during lunch when we were all out of office, and removed all the files important to A (that B himself has no use for) on that server. CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW SCARY IT IS?

the moment we found evidence of his..crime, we were all very shocked. like seriously. i always thought B was a little lazy, but still kind at heart. LOL. but yea.. i never ever imagined that he would be someone capable of sabotaging people like that. if those files were lost forever..the impact is on the company as a whole. millions of dollars lost just like that. are you seriously that brainless?

speechless. just speechless.

ANYWAYS. enough of the unhappy stuff. on to some happier things now! ^^

WE FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY HAD HALIA FOR LUNCH! YAYYYYY! ((((:

so happy please. we wanted to try that place since forever! the standard thing to say when we always walk past the store is "we should try this someday". aaaaand, the best part? it didnt disappoint (much)! hehe.

(photos stolen from mandy!)

STARTERS. there was a choice of either

Mayura station "Gunpowder" wagyu topside, potato salad with honey mustard dressing

OR

Cream of Cauliflower

i know, like seriously. what the shit is cauliflower soup right. when i read that on the menu, it was just a total turnoff HAHA. so obviously, i went with my obvious choice of potato salad(that i love) with wagyu(that i love too).

IT. WAS. BEYOND. AMAZING.

i cannot even begin to describe how perfectly done their potato salad was. i absolutely LOVE potatoes, but im a little afraid of potato salads! they usually tend to be more undercooked to present the 'crunchy' taste. I HATE THAT! their potato was hard, but still soft enough that i didnt have to 'crunch' my potato like an apple! so happy you know. AND THE BEEF. OMG THE BEEF. it was perfect. this dish was just perfection personified.

dont belittle the cauliflower soup tho. it sounds yucky, esp to someone like me who absolutely HATES veggies, it was yums. HAHA. it just tasted like a creamy soup. nice creamy soup btw. they said the bread was really nice too! very soft, very fluffy. the starter amazed us to no end!

next up was the mains.

Chicken & Bacon Bolognse with capellini, topped with rocket and parmesan

this was just meh. creation beats their pasta hands down no objections. the parmesan was nice, but it didnt spread out on the pasta! it was just one slice of cheese just like that. could have done better imo!

DESSERT! YUM YUM.

choice of either

Panna cotta (dont have the exact description)

OR

Malt Rice Pudding

rice pudding is just...unappetising. HAHA. i hate rice too anyways, so the obvious choice this time was panna cotta! LUCKY I ORDERED THAT TOO. yap ordered the rice pudding to try since we all ordered panna cotta, and she regretted big time lolol. i refused to try it based on the expressions of those who did LOL

sf tasted some, gave this weird face and decided that the top (strawberry jam of sorts) tasted like cough syrup. mandy tried all the way to the bottom and said it tasted like horlicks because of the malt. HAHAHA. now you see why i refused to try it? plus, my panna cotta was awesome. no point spoiling my taste buds!

service was pretty good too. its worth a try! ^^
