the meal cost $25 and they each paid $10.
the waiter returned $5.
they each took back $1 and give the remaining $2 to the waiter as tips.
So, theoratically,
each paid: $10 - $1 = $9,
and total paid equals to $9 x 3 = $27
plus $2= $29. where did the $1 go?
